Microsoft : The Best Game

Okay, so "Microsoft: The Best" on Game Boy Color is one of those weird little late-era GBC titles that feels like it got lost in time. You boot it up and—surprise—it's not actually about Microsoft at all. Instead, you get this oddly charming puzzle-adventure thing where you play as a tiny explorer hopping between floating islands, pushing blocks and dodging these weird bouncing enemies that look like rejected Tamagotchi designs.
The pixel art’s actually pretty solid for a GBC game—lots of bright blues and greens that pop on the screen. First level throws you right into it: you’re figuring out how to redirect waterfalls to flood certain areas while avoiding these little bat creatures that respawn if you take too long. Music’s got that classic chiptune bounciness, though after a while it loops hard.
Weirdest part? The title makes zero sense, but once you’re past that, it’s a decent time-killer if you’re into retro puzzle-platformers. Just don’t expect any Clippy cameos.
