About Micro Machines V3
Micro Machines V3 came out for the Game Boy Color in 2000, developed by Codemasters. It was a solid racing game for a handheld that was full of them, a pocket version of the toy car chaos people knew from consoles.
You control a tiny vehicle, racing against other cars on tracks built from everyday household objects. Your main goal is to win each race by staying ahead of the pack and not falling off the edge of the course. Key mechanics include using a turbo boost for a quick burst of speed and picking up weapon power-ups like missiles and oil slicks to disrupt your opponents. The races are fast and the tracks are narrow, making it easy to get knocked off, which gives the game a constant, tense difficulty.
