Metal Gear Solid Ii Game

Okay, so Metal Gear Solid II on Game Boy Color is this weird little stealth gem that somehow works way better than it has any right to. You're sneaking through these tiny pixelated bases, hugging walls while guards patrol in these perfectly timed loops. The first time a searchlight almost spots you, you'll freeze like "oh crap."
It's got that classic Metal Gear vibe—radio calls with weird codenames, finding keycards hidden in bathrooms, the whole deal. The graphics are surprisingly decent for a GBC game, with these cool little animations when you crawl under stuff or knock out a guard. And yeah, the story's still bananas in that very Metal Gear way.
Honestly, my first playthrough was half stumbling around lost and half feeling like a genius when I figured out you could distract enemies by throwing empty magazines. It's clunky in that charming retro way, but once it clicks, you're hooked. Just don't expect the PS2 version—this is its own weird, pocket-sized thing.
