Okay, so Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel on the Game Boy Color is way cooler than it has any right to be. It’s not just some watered-down port—it’s a full-blown stealth mission with that classic MGS vibe, just pixelated. You’re still sneaking past guards, hiding in boxes (yes, really), and getting yelled at by your CO over the codec.
The levels are surprisingly tight for a handheld game, and the AI actually makes you think before rushing in. I got spotted way too many times before realizing patience pays off. Also, the bosses? Some of them are legit tough, especially with those tiny GBC buttons.
If you’ve played the PS1 original, this feels like a weird but fun alternate universe version. If you haven’t, it’s still a solid (heh) stealth game that doesn’t mess around.
