About Men In Black : The Series
Men in Black: The Series came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, published by Crave Entertainment. It was part of that wave of licensed games that tried to capture the show's vibe on the small screen. You got a lot of these action platformers back then, and this one fit right in with its cartoon style and straightforward premise.
You control Agent J, moving through levels screen by screen to hunt down alien threats. Your main job is to blast aliens with your standard issue pistol, which you can upgrade for more firepower as you progress. The levels are linear but filled with hidden items and civilians you need to protect or sometimes zap with your neuralyzer. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty can spike with some tricky platforming sections and enemy patterns. It feels like a solid, no frills run and gun from that era.
