Maya The Bee And Her Friends Game

Okay, so Maya the Bee and Her Friends on Game Boy Color is exactly what it sounds like—a cute, simple platformer where you play as Maya buzzing around a meadow. The sprites are surprisingly bright for a GBC game, and yeah, it nails that "90s cartoon adaptation" vibe.
You’ll hop over mushrooms, dodge grumpy beetles, and collect pollen (of course). Some levels have these little puzzles where you need to flip switches or convince other bugs to help you out. It’s not super hard, but there’s a weirdly satisfying rhythm to bouncing between flowers.
If you grew up with the show, the nostalgia hits hard—the music’s cheerful, and Maya’s little wing-flap animation is adorable. Just don’t expect deep mechanics. It’s the kind of game you play when you want something light and colorful. The meadow feels alive, even if the wasps are jerks.
