Maya The Bee - Garden Adventures (europe) (en,fr,de,es) Game

Maya the Bee - Garden Adventures is one of those cute little Game Boy Color games that flew under the radar back in the day. You play as Maya, buzzing around colorful gardens, collecting pollen and helping other insects—it's got that wholesome, slightly educational vibe you'd expect from a kids' show adaptation.
The controls are simple (d-pad to fly, one button to interact), but there's a surprising amount of tiny challenges, like dodging spiderwebs or figuring out which flowers to pollinate first. The sprite work is actually pretty charming for a GBC title—Maya's little wing animations when she hovers are weirdly satisfying.
It's definitely aimed at younger players, but there's a relaxed, almost meditative quality to just floating between flower patches. The European version has language options, which was rare for these kinds of licensed games back then. Not a hidden gem or anything, but a nice nostalgia trip if you grew up with the cartoon.
