Max Payne on the GBA? Yeah, it's a thing—somehow they crammed all the bullet-time shootouts and noir vibes into that tiny cartridge. You're still playing as the gravel-voiced cop with nothing to lose, diving sideways in slow-mo while blasting mobsters in cramped hallways. The graphics are obviously downgraded, but the moody lighting and comic-book cutscenes actually work surprisingly well on the small screen.
Controls take some getting used to (good luck nailing headshots with that D-pad), but once you adjust, it's weirdly satisfying popping goons in pixelated slo-mo. Don't expect the full console experience, but as a portable time-killer with Max's signature grim one-liners? Not bad at all.
