You played as the Olsen twins' characters, Mary-Kate and Ashley, in a story about navigating high school life and crushes. It felt very much of its time, a straightforward adventure aimed at a younger audience without the complexity of some other games on the system.

In the game, you control either Mary-Kate or Ashley, switching between them to solve puzzles and talk to other students. The main goal is to gather items and information to help your chosen character succeed in winning over their crush before the big dance. You move screen by screen through different locations like the school and the mall, collecting specific objects and completing mini games. The pacing is generally relaxed, with simple environmental puzzles that don't present much of a challenge. Playing it feels like a light, casual stroll through a simplified high school narrative.
