March of the Penguins on GBA is exactly what it sounds like—a bunch of penguins doing their thing, but with puzzles. You start off waddling through icy levels, sliding on your belly when you pick up speed (which never stops being funny), and nudging blocks around to clear paths. The first few stages ease you in, but then suddenly you're timing jumps over cracks in the ice or dodging seals that pop up like surprise party guests you didn’t want.
It’s got that classic GBA charm—bright colors, chunky sprites, and controls simple enough that you could play it one-handed while eating a sandwich. Not that I’ve tested that. Okay, maybe I have. The later puzzles actually get kinda clever, especially when you’re herding multiple penguins at once and trying not to leave anyone behind. Just don’t expect deep lore—it’s mostly vibes and snow physics.
Perfect for when you want something lighthearted but still need to use your brain a little. Also, sliding penguins. Always sliding penguins.
