About Majesco's Sports Pack
Majesco's Sports Pack was a Game Boy Advance release from 2000, published by Majesco themselves. It came out early in the handheld's life, a time when simple, portable sports compilations were common. This one bundled together four different events, offering a quick dose of competition without much fuss.
You control an athlete across baseball, basketball, soccer, and hockey. The main goal is straightforward: win each match by outscoring the computer opponent. Gameplay is built on simple mechanics; you pitch and bat in baseball, dribble and shoot in basketball, pass and tackle in soccer, and check and slap shot in hockey. The controls are basic, relying on a few buttons for most actions, and the difficulty can feel uneven, sometimes too easy and other times surprisingly punishing. Playing it feels like a rapid tour through several simplified sports, where a single mistake can cost you the game.
