Magical Quest 2 is one of those classic Disney platformers that just feels right—bright, bouncy, and packed with that old-school charm. You’ve got Mickey and Minnie swapping between costumes (the wizard robe’s my favorite, no contest) as they hop through candy-colored forests and spooky castles. The controls are simple, but some of those boss fights? Sneaky tough. I still remember getting wrecked by the giant spider the first time.
It’s not reinventing the wheel, but the sprite work holds up surprisingly well, and the music’s pure GBA-era Disney magic. If you’ve got a soft spot for 90s platformers or just want something cheerful to zone out with, this one’s a solid pick. Just watch out for those falling pumpkins.
