I picked up Lucky Luke: Wanted! for the Game Boy Advance back in 2001, a time when licensed games were a common sight on the handheld. It was published by Infogrames, and it drops you right into the boots of the lanky cowboy from the comics. The game doesn't try to reinvent the wheel; it's a straightforward action platformer that fits right in with what was available on the system back then.

You control Lucky Luke himself, moving through levels screen by screen to hunt down the four members of the Dalton gang. Your main goal is straightforward: find and defeat each boss to complete your wanted poster. You spend your time running, jumping across gaps, and using your trusty six-shooter to pop balloons and hit switches in the environment. You also get to ride your horse, Jolly Jumper, in certain racing sections that break up the platforming. The pacing is generally quick, though some of the later stages can get tricky with their enemy placement and platform challenges. It feels like a simple, uncomplicated run-and-gun adventure from start to finish.
