Lucky Luke on the Game Boy Color came out in 1999 from Infogrames. It was a time when licensed games based on comics and cartoons were common on portables, and this one fit right in. You get to be the cowboy who shoots faster than his shadow, just like in the original comics.
You control Lucky Luke through side scrolling levels, moving screen by screen. Your main goal is to rescue the Dalton brothers from a train and then chase them across different environments like towns and deserts. You use your six shooter to hit enemies and objects; you can also jump on platforms and occasionally ride your horse, Jolly Jumper. The game has a steady pace, though some enemy patterns require quick timing. It feels straightforward, like a classic cartoon adventure brought to life in your hands.
