Alright, so Looney Tunes Collector: Alert on Game Boy Color is basically a chaotic little scavenger hunt with all your favorite cartoon troublemakers. You’re running around as Bugs, Daffy, or Porky, grabbing random junk—gold records, alarm clocks, whatever—while dodging Yosemite Sam’s bullets or Marvin the Martian’s weird alien tech. It’s simple, but the sprites are surprisingly vibrant for a GBC game, and the music nails that classic Looney Tunes vibe.
At first, I thought it’d just be a mindless collect-a-thon, but some of the later stages actually get kinda sneaky with hidden items and enemy patterns. And yeah, it’s janky in that old handheld way—hit detection can be a little iffy when you’re jumping over stuff—but that just adds to the charm. If you grew up with these characters, it’s a fun little nostalgia trip, even if it’s not exactly deep. Just don’t expect it to hold up like a proper platformer.
