I picked up Looney Tunes: Carrot Crazy back when it came out in 1998 for the Game Boy Color. It was published by Sunsoft, a company that put out a lot of solid games for the handheld. During that era, the Game Boy Color library was full of licensed titles, and this one was a familiar name among them.
You control Bugs Bunny, moving screen by screen to collect carrots while avoiding various enemies and obstacles. The main goal is to gather enough carrots to unlock the exit in each stage. Key mechanics include using a mallet to stun enemies temporarily and finding hidden warp holes that let you skip ahead. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly in later levels, demanding precise jumps. Playing it feels like a quick, sometimes frantic, dash through a cartoon world.
