About Logical
I first came across Logical on the Game Boy Color back when it was released in 2000. It was developed by Den'Z and published by Ubisoft, arriving during a period when the handheld was full of experimental puzzle games. This one stood out for its clean, almost minimalist presentation, a quiet title among more action-heavy contemporaries.
You guide a small cursor through a series of grid-based puzzles, one screen at a time. The main goal is to activate all the tiles on each board by deducing the correct sequence of moves. Your primary tools are a set of directional commands you program in advance; you plan a path, execute it, and watch the results unfold. The challenge comes from obstacles like blocked paths and tiles that change state, forcing you to think several steps ahead. The difficulty is steady and methodical, never feeling rushed but demanding concentration. It feels like quietly untangling a knot in your mind.
