Okay, so Lizzie McGuire 2: Lizzie Diaries is basically like playing through an episode of the show—but you get to make some of the cringey middle school decisions instead of just yelling at Lizzie through the screen. You start off picking outfits (obviously), then bounce between school, the mall, and Lizzie’s house while dealing with teachers, crushes, and Miranda’s sarcasm. The puzzles are simple—think "find three notebooks before class starts"—but the real fun is in the dialogue choices. Accidentally tell Gordo his new hat looks weird? Congrats, now he’s sulking by the lockers.
It’s got that early 2000s GBA charm, with chunky sprites and painfully accurate voice clips ("Hey now, hey now!"). Not gonna lie, some of the minigames feel tacked on (why am I suddenly doing a DDR knockoff at the school dance?), but the writing nails the show’s humor. If you ever wanted to live out the drama of losing your diary or agonizing over a school project, this is your chance. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on the skateboard timing section.
