Little Magic is a Japan only Game Boy Color release from 2000, developed by KID and published by Imagineer. It arrived late in the system's life, a time when developers were still finding new ways to use the handheld's color palette for adventure games.

You control a young wizard navigating a world split into distinct, screen by screen areas. Your main goal is to explore dungeons and defeat the monsters within, using a simple magic system where you collect and combine different elemental orbs to create new spells. The combat is straightforward, relying on positioning and timing your casts against enemies that often require specific elemental weaknesses to defeat. The pacing is methodical, as you frequently backtrack to previously locked areas with newly acquired spells, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you enter a new area unprepared.
