Lion King, The (europe) On Sms Game

So, The Lion King on the Sega Master System—yeah, it’s basically the same platformer as the SNES and Genesis versions, just scaled down a bit. You start off as young Simba, hopping across logs and dodging hyenas, and the controls feel a little stiff at first (like, why does jumping have to be so precise?). But once you get used to it, the levels are actually pretty fun, especially the stampede scene—though good luck not dying a dozen times there.
Graphics are decent for the Master System, with bright colors and recognizable characters, but don’t expect the same smoothness as the 16-bit versions. The music’s still catchy, though—just be ready for some serious platforming frustration if you’re not patient. It’s a solid port, just don’t go in thinking it’ll be a walk in the savanna.
