Lion King Iii Game

Lion King III on Game Boy Color is basically the closest you'll get to reliving the movie without popping in the VHS. You start off as Simba, bouncing around the Pride Lands—swiping at bugs, dodging hyenas, and trying not to fall off cliffs like an overconfident cub. The sprites are surprisingly vibrant for a GBC game, and yeah, you’ll recognize all the big moments from the film, just pixelated.
It’s not all easy platforming, though. Some jumps require weirdly precise timing, and those hyenas? Annoying in the best way. But nailing a perfect run through the elephant graveyard or finally taking down Scar feels legit satisfying. The music’s obviously chiptune, but they squeezed in enough of the iconic melodies to hit you right in the nostalgia.
If you grew up with the movie or just love classic Disney platformers, this one’s a solid time capsule.
