Licca-Chan No Oshare Nikki is one of those cute, low-stakes GBA games that feels like flipping through a fashion magazine—if the magazine let you actually dress up the characters. You’ve got Licca (Japan’s answer to Barbie) and her friends, and the whole thing plays like a mix of dress-up and light life sim. Pick outfits, style hair, and decorate rooms while little story bits play out.
It’s all in Japanese, but the icons are intuitive enough that you’ll figure out the menus fast. The pixel art has that early 2000s charm—big heads, tiny hands, and way too many frilly dresses. Not exactly deep, but weirdly relaxing if you just want to zone out and arrange virtual accessories for half an hour.
Definitely more of a niche pick unless you’re into retro girly games, but it’s got a weirdly specific vibe that’s hard to hate.
