Lego Racers 2 on GBA is exactly what it sounds like—a chaotic, blocky racing game where you build your own car out of Lego bricks and then immediately wreck it on sharp turns. The customization is fun, though. You start with basic parts, but after a few races, you’ll unlock wild stuff like rocket boosters or giant wheels that make your car look ridiculous (in a good way).
The tracks are full of shortcuts and hazards, like banana peels straight out of Mario Kart, and the AI racers don’t hold back. First time I played, I spent way too long tweaking my car’s design only to flip it into a pit five seconds into the race. Classic Lego physics.
It’s not the deepest racer, but there’s something satisfying about watching your janky Lego creation barely hold together at top speed. The GBA version’s a bit stripped down compared to the console ones, but it still nails the goofy charm.
