About Lego Knights' Kingdom (u)(venom)
I picked up Knights' Kingdom for the Game Boy Advance back when it came out, a title from Lego Interactive that fit right in with the handheld's library of action platformers. It was one of those games you'd see on the shelf alongside other licensed adventures, straightforward and built for quick sessions.
You control one of four knights, switching between them to use their unique weapons like swords and bows across side scrolling levels. The main goal is to fight through Vladek's forces, screen by screen, to reclaim the kingdom. You break Lego objects for studs, solve simple block pushing puzzles to open paths, and battle skeletons and other foes in close combat. The pacing is methodical, not particularly fast, and the difficulty feels fair for the most part. It feels like a solid, hands on quest where you are constantly smashing and building your way forward.
