About Lego Knights' Kingdom (e)(rising Sun)
Lego Knights' Kingdom was a Game Boy Advance release from around 2004, developed by Traveller's Tales and published by THQ. It arrived during a period when licensed Lego games were beginning to find their footing on handheld systems, offering a portable alternative to the console experiences.
You control one of four knights, switching between them to use their unique abilities as you explore the kingdom screen by screen. Your main goal is to stop the villain Vladek by finding keys, pulling levers, and fighting his shadow knights with your sword. The game involves a lot of backtracking through castle halls and forest paths to open up new areas, and the combat is straightforward, relying on timing your strikes. The pacing can feel a bit slow due to the exploration, and some of the enemy encounters require patience. It feels like a methodical, light adventure where you are mostly building progress one solved puzzle at a time.
