Lego Football Mania came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by Traveller's Tales. It was part of that wave of early 2000s handheld titles that tried to bring a specific toy brand to life on a small screen. This one took the familiar bricks and minifigures and put them on a soccer pitch.

You control a team of Lego minifigures, directing them down the field to score goals against the opposing team. The main objective is to win matches across various cups and tournaments. A couple of its signature mechanics include the ability to perform special shots that charge up for more power, and the way players can be temporarily stunned or knocked apart by hard tackles, leaving their Lego pieces scattered. The game moves at a fairly quick pace, and the difficulty comes from the aggressive computer opponents who are good at stealing the ball.
