Okay, so Lego Bionicle Matoran Adventures is one of those GBA games that feels like it was made for fans first. You’re thrown right into the Bohrok war, controlling six different Matoran—each with their own little quirks, though honestly, I mostly stuck with the one that had the best jump.
It’s a straightforward side-scroller—run, jump, smack some Bohrok with your tools. The levels aren’t super complex, but there’s something satisfying about rescuing Turaga and clearing out swarms of those creepy Rahi creatures. The sprites are surprisingly detailed for a GBA title, and the music nails that Bionicle vibe.
Don’t expect anything groundbreaking, but if you grew up with Bionicle or just want a quick, nostalgic platformer, it’s a solid little time-waster. Just watch out for those rolling Bohrok—they’re way more annoying than they look.
