About Laser Ghost
Laser Ghost came out for the Sega Master System, a game developed by Sega that fit right in with the platform's library of straightforward action titles. It was a time when light gun games were a popular arcade diversion, and this was one of the attempts to bring that experience home.
You control a rookie agent tasked with clearing haunted locations of spectral enemies. Your main objective is to survive through a series of single screen stages, using your light gun to aim and shoot at ghosts that materialize from all directions. The core mechanics involve quick targeting, as you must hit enemies before they reach you or fire their own projectiles. You also manage a limited energy shield for blocking attacks, which depletes with each use.
