Okay, so Tomb Raider: The Prophecy on GBA is actually way better than I expected for a handheld version. You’ve got Lara doing her usual thing—jumping across crumbling ruins, pulling levers that probably shouldn’t be pulled, and dodging traps that look like they’d hurt a lot. The puzzles are surprisingly clever for a tiny screen, and the controls? Not bad once you get used to them.
It’s got that classic Tomb Raider vibe—dark tombs, eerie music, and enemies that pop up just when you think you’re safe. The story’s decent too, something about an ancient prophecy (shocking, I know) and of course Lara’s right in the middle of it. If you’ve played the older games, you’ll feel right at home, but even if you’re new, it’s a solid intro to tomb raiding on the go.
Just don’t expect PS1-level graphics—this is still a GBA game, after all. But hey, it’s Lara in your pocket, and that’s pretty cool.
