Oh man, The Land Before Time on Game Boy Color—talk about nostalgia. You play as Littlefoot (or Cera if you're feeling spicy) hopping through prehistoric levels, dodging falling rocks and those annoying sharpteeth. The controls are a little stiff by today's standards, but there's something charming about chomping berries to refill health while ducking under pterodactyls. Also, the music? Weirdly catchy for a GBC game.

It's not the deepest platformer out there, but if you grew up with the movie, it hits different. Just don't expect it to hold up like a modern indie gem—this is pure late-'90s licensed game energy.
