Okay, so this is one of those cute-but-surprisingly-tough GBA platformers based on The Land Before Time movies. You play as Littlefoot and the gang trying to rescue Chomper (yes, the tiny T-Rex) after he wanders off into the Mysterious Beyond. Each dinosaur has their own moves—Petrie can glide, Spike rolls into a ball, that sort of thing—and you switch between them to solve puzzles and get past obstacles.

The pixel art’s actually pretty charming, with these bright, cartoony environments that feel straight out of the films. But don’t let the cutesy look fool you—some of the platforming gets weirdly precise, especially in later levels. I remember getting stuck for ages on a vine-swinging section with Ducky because her jumps are just slightly floatier than the others.

It’s definitely a nostalgia trip if you grew up with the movies, though the gameplay holds up better than you’d expect for a licensed title. Just be ready for a few frustrating moments between the wholesome dino friendship.
