Lady Sia came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, developed by Tiertex Design Studios. It was part of that early wave of GBA action games, arriving when developers were still figuring out what the hardware could do. You play as the titular heroine, a warrior on a mission to stop a bestial army from taking over the world.

You guide Sia through side scrolling levels, fighting monsters with a sword and later a bow. The main goal is to rescue captured children and defeat the evil overlord. A key mechanic is her ability to shapeshift into a powerful beast, which lets you smash through certain walls and access new areas. The game is structured screen by screen, with some light platforming and exploration. It moves at a quick pace, and the difficulty can be sharp in spots, especially during some of the boss encounters. Playing it feels like a brisk, straightforward adventure where your reflexes and timing are constantly tested.
