LEGO Island 2 on Game Boy Color is one of those weirdly charming little games that somehow makes blocky pizza deliveries feel epic. You play as Pepper Roni (yes, the name’s ridiculous, but it grows on you), running around fixing chaos after the Brickster escapes—again. The controls take a minute to get used to, but once you do, it’s oddly satisfying to build bridges out of LEGO pieces while dodging hazards.
It’s not just fetch quests, though—there are mini-games where you race jet skis or solve tile puzzles, and the whole island has this janky, low-res charm. The music’s surprisingly catchy for a GBC title, too. Don’t expect deep storytelling, but if you ever wanted to deliver virtual pizzas on a tiny screen, this is your jam.
