About Kururin Paradise
Kururin Paradise came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by 8ing and published by Racjin. It was a time when the GBA library was full of inventive Japanese titles that didn't always make it overseas, and this was one of those quirky, satisfying puzzle games that felt perfectly suited for quick sessions on the handheld.
You control a little helicopter-like craft called the Kururin, a stick with a rotating propeller at each end. Your goal is simply to pilot it through a series of obstacle-filled stages without letting the ends of the stick touch the walls. The core mechanic is managing the constant rotation; you can't stop it, only change its speed and direction. This turns navigation into a careful dance of timing and angles as you squeeze through narrow passages, avoid moving hazards, and occasionally use the environment to block the spin. The game is methodical and demands patience, but clearing a tricky screen provides a genuine sense of relief. It feels like solving a physical puzzle with your own two hands.
