Kong - The Animated Series on GBA is one of those licensed games that could’ve been forgettable, but it’s actually a decent little side-scroller. You play as Kong (obviously), smashing through jungle levels, swinging on vines, and punching robots—because of course there are robots. The controls are simple, but the platforming feels solid, and the sprites have that early 2000s cartoon charm.

It’s not gonna blow your mind, but if you’re into old-school beat ‘em ups or just want a quick nostalgia hit from the era when every cartoon got a game, it’s worth a few minutes of your time. Just don’t expect anything deeper than running right and hitting stuff.
