Konchu Ouja - Mushiking (j)(caravan) Game

Konchu Ouja - Mushiking is one of those weirdly addictive GBA games where you collect and battle beetles. Yeah, beetles. At first I thought it was just a kids' thing, but the rock-paper-scissors-style combat actually gets pretty strategic once you dig into it.
You start off with a basic stag beetle and just mash buttons to fight, but soon you're swapping out different bugs with unique moves—some hit hard but are slow, others dodge like crazy. The art's surprisingly detailed for a GBA title, with these little beetle animations that make them feel like tiny warriors. The Japanese version's a bit confusing if you don't know the language, but the gameplay's straightforward enough to figure out.
It's got that classic arcade-y vibe where you just pick a beetle and go, no long tutorials. Perfect for quick sessions when you want something simple but with a bit of depth underneath.
