Konami GB Collection Vol.1 is a nostalgia trip for anyone who grew up with a Game Boy Color—or just loves classic handheld games. It bundles together four solid Konami titles: Nemesis (a stripped-down but still fun Gradius-style shooter), Dracula Densetsu (Castlevania with a weird name change), ContraYie Ar Kung-Fu (an early fighting game that’s janky but weirdly charming).
Dracula Densetsu feels the most polished—it’s basically Castlevania: The Adventure but with smoother controls. Contra’s a blast, though good luck beating it without save states. The emulation’s solid, and having all four in one cart is great if you’re into retro pick-up-and-play sessions. Just don’t expect fancy remasters—these are the originals, quirks and all.
Perfect for killing 15 minutes or diving deep into some old-school difficulty.
