Kisekae Series 2 - Oshare Nikki (japan) Game

Kisekae Series 2 - Oshare Nikki is one of those weirdly charming Game Boy Color dress-up games that never made it outside Japan. You basically customize these little anime-style characters with different outfits, hairstyles, and accessories—kind of like digital paper dolls, but with way more pastel colors than you'd expect from a handheld in the late '90s.
At first it feels simple (pick a top, pick a skirt, done), but then you realize there are layers—literally. Some items clip weirdly, others change colors when combined, and half the fun is seeing how ridiculous you can make a character look before the game stops cooperating. The interface is all in Japanese, but the icons are intuitive enough that you can stumble through it without knowing the language.
Definitely more of a "chill and mess around" game than something with real progression. I spent way too long trying to recreate early 2000s fashion disasters.
