Kisekae Angel (j)(caravan) Game

Kisekae Angel is one of those weird little GBA dress-up games that never left Japan—which is a shame, because it’s oddly charming. You start by picking a cute anime-style girl, then go wild customizing her outfits, hairstyles, and accessories. The controls are simple, but there’s something satisfying about mixing and matching pieces until you nail that perfect gothic lolita or schoolgirl look.
It’s definitely niche, but if you’ve ever spent hours tweaking a character’s outfit in an RPG just for fun, this might click for you. The sprites are tiny but surprisingly detailed, and some of the color combos you can pull off are ridiculous in the best way. Just don’t expect much beyond dressing up—it’s pure digital paper dolls with a retro vibe.
Works fine on emulators, though the original cartridge had this weird Caravan mode where you’d race against a timer to style your character. That part’s as chaotic as it sounds.
