Kirby & The Amazing Mirror is one of those GBA games that just oozes charm. You start off like any Kirby game—sucking up enemies, stealing their powers, bouncing around pastel-colored worlds—but then the mirror gimmick kicks in. Suddenly, you're warping between parallel versions of levels, solving puzzles with your own reflections, and backtracking through this weird, interconnected maze of a world.
It's got that classic Kirby feel, but with a Metroidvania twist—you'll find yourself revisiting areas with new abilities to unlock hidden paths. Some of the copy abilities are downright hilarious (try the Cupid one if you get the chance), and the music? Peak GBA-era bouncy goodness. The only downside is the map system—good luck figuring out where you're supposed to go sometimes.
If you like Kirby but wish the games had a little more exploration, this one's a weird, wonderful deep cut from the GBA library.
