Play Kingdom At War Online

Kingdom at War is a turn based strategy game released in 1995 for the MS DOS platform. Developed by Interscan and published by Manaccom Pty Ltd, it is a fantasy themed title where players manage a medieval kingdom from a top down perspective.

The player controls a king with the primary objective of uniting the land's various city states under a single banner. This is achieved by competing against five other rival kings across six preset scenarios or a custom scenario. Gameplay involves managing a kingdom's economy by setting taxes, hiring troops, and improving city defenses. Players also engage in military actions such as attacking opposing armies and using spies to gather intelligence on enemies. The game supports modem play for two players and a turn based hotseat mode that can accommodate up to eight human participants.

A notable feature is the ability to host different types of medieval tournaments. These events serve to recruit the most skilled warriors from across the land, with each tournament variety attracting different combatants. For instance, organizing an Arena Tournament can draw pit fighters, Orcs, Ogres, Barbarians, and Giants to a player's service. Beyond recruitment, successfully holding these tournaments also functions to increase the happiness of the kingdom's populace.
