Keitai Denjuu Telefang 2 : Power Limited Game

Telefang 2 on the GBA is basically Pokémon if it ran on cell phones—literally. You’ve got these digital critters called Denjuu, and yeah, you collect them, but the whole vibe is weirder in the best way. The battles? Surprisingly tactical, especially when you start mixing and matching their weird little abilities.
First thing you’ll notice is how janky the translation is (if you’re playing the English patch), but honestly, that just adds to the charm. You’re running around this glitchy-feeling world where your phone is your lifeline, calling up monsters to fight for you. Some of the designs are straight-up bizarre—like, who thought a telephone with legs was a good idea? But after a few battles, you’ll weirdly grow attached to them.
It’s not the prettiest GBA game, and the pacing drags sometimes, but there’s something oddly compelling about it. If you’re into obscure monster-collecting RPGs, this one’s a trip worth taking.
