Kawa No Nushi Tsuri 3 & 4 (j)(caravan) Game

Kawa No Nushi Tsuri 3 & 4 is one of those chill fishing RPGs from the Game Boy Advance era—basically, the Japanese answer to Harvest Moon but with rods and reels. You start off in this cozy little village, pick your gear (pro tip: don’t blow all your cash on the fancy rod right away), and then just… fish. But it’s weirdly addictive. The lakes and rivers actually feel alive, with different fish biting at different times of day, and some of them put up a real fight.
What’s cool is how it mixes in light RPG stuff—upgrading your tackle, entering tournaments, even some light story beats with villagers. The pixel art’s got that warm, slightly washed-out GBA charm, and the music’s all mellow guitar plucks perfect for zoning out. It’s not flashy, but if you’ve ever lost hours to games where the whole point is to grind for slightly bigger numbers, this’ll hook you.
Also, yeah, it’s technically two games bundled together—3 and 4—but they play pretty much the same. Just more fish to catch, I guess.
