K.o. - The Pro Boxing (japan) Game

K.O. - The Pro Boxing is one of those old-school Game Boy Color brawlers that somehow makes pixelated punches feel satisfying. You pick your fighter (I always went for the speedy lightweight—those jabs add up), then it's straight into the ring against opponents who start off easy but quickly get brutal. The controls are simple—dodge, jab, hook—but timing matters way more than button mashing.
What I like is how the screen shakes when you land a solid hit, and the way the crowd cheers get louder as the match goes on. The later fights? Yeah, good luck—those guys block like crazy and counter like they’ve got a grudge. It’s not the deepest boxing sim, but for a quick handheld scrap, it holds up.
