Justice League Heroes: The Flash came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2006, developed by WayForward and published by Warner Bros. Interactive. It was part of that wave of handheld games based on big comic book properties, a time when you could carry a whole superhero adventure in your pocket. This one focused squarely on the Flash, letting you step into his red boots for a side scrolling beat 'em up.

You control the Flash through a series of levels, punching and kicking your way through waves of enemies like robots and alien creatures. Your main goal is to stop the villain Brainiac, fighting through his forces across different locations. The game gives you a few special moves that use your speed; you can perform a spinning attack to hit multiple foes or dash quickly across the screen. You also collect power ups to strengthen your attacks and health. The pacing is pretty fast, and the difficulty can get intense, especially when the screen fills with enemies. It feels like a straightforward, energetic brawler where you're constantly moving and hitting things.
