About Justice League Heroes - The Flash (u)(rising Sun)
Justice League Heroes: The Flash came out in 2006 for the Game Boy Advance, developed by WayForward Technologies. It was part of that era where licensed superhero games were common on handhelds, and this one focused squarely on the Scarlet Speedster.
You control The Flash through side scrolling levels, running and fighting through waves of enemies like robots and alien creatures. Your main goal is to stop the villain Brainiac, moving screen by screen through city streets and industrial complexes. The signature mechanics are his super speed, which you activate with a button to dash through enemies and obstacles, and a combo system for stringing together rapid punches and kicks. You also collect power ups to enhance your health and special attacks. The pacing is fast, as you would expect, though some sections can be tricky with enemy placement that requires quick reflexes. It feels like a straightforward arcade brawler where you get to live out the fantasy of being the fastest man alive.
