Jurassic Park III - The DNA Factor is one of those GBA games you pick up expecting a basic movie tie-in, but it's actually a decent little side-scroller. You play as a handful of characters—some human, some dino—navigating jungle ruins, dodging raptors, and occasionally switching to a weird top-down puzzle mode where you mess with DNA strands. The controls are a bit stiff (classic early 2000s platformer vibes), but there's something satisfying about chomping through enemies as a T-Rex.
It’s not groundbreaking, but if you’re into Jurassic Park or just want a quick, slightly janky action game, it’s got its moments. The soundtrack even throws in some eerie jungle ambience that’s weirdly immersive for a GBA cart. Just don’t expect it to hold up against the big-name platformers of the era.
