Remember that old Jungle Book game on Game Boy Color? Yeah, the one where you play as Mowgli swinging through vines and dodging monkeys. It's a side-scroller with that classic 90s platformer feel—jump on enemies, collect fruit, and try not to get wrecked by Shere Khan. The controls are a little stiff by today's standards, but the music slaps, and the pixel art holds up surprisingly well.

You start off in the jungle, of course, with Baloo yelling tips at you in broken English (or French, German, etc., depending on your ROM). The first level’s mostly about getting used to Mowgli’s weirdly floaty jumps, but by the time you hit the ruins with those annoying bats, you’ll either be hooked or ready to throw your GBC against a wall. Good luck with Kaa’s level, by the way—that snake’s a nightmare.

Definitely one of those "better than you’d expect" Disney movie tie-ins, if you’re into retro platformers.
