Jungle Book on GBC is one of those licensed games that actually got it right. You start off as Mowgli running through dense jungle, jumping over logs and dodging snakes—it nails that classic Disney vibe with its bright colors and bouncy soundtrack. The first level throws you right into vine-swinging, which feels surprisingly smooth for a Game Boy Color title.

What surprised me was how much they packed into this little cartridge. You'll fight Shere Khan (obviously), but also deal with Kaa's hypnotic traps and those goofy vultures from the movie. The platforming gets tricky in spots—some of those bottomless pits had me restarting more than I'd like to admit. If you grew up with the animated film, hearing the chiptune version of "Bare Necessities" is an instant nostalgia trip.

It's not the deepest platformer out there, but for a Disney tie-in from 2000, it holds up way better than most. Just watch out for those monkeys—they're sneaky.
