Jisedai Begoma Battle Beyblade (japan) Game

Jisedai Begoma Battle Beyblade is one of those weird little Game Boy Color RPGs that never left Japan—which is a shame, because it’s actually a pretty fun twist on the usual Beyblade formula. Instead of just spinning tops, you’re managing a team, leveling up your gear, and battling through turn-based fights where positioning and special moves actually matter.
At first, it feels like a standard RPG with menus and random encounters, but then you realize you’re customizing your Beyblade’s parts mid-battle, tweaking balance and attack power on the fly. The sprite work’s surprisingly detailed for a GBC game, too—those little spinning tops actually look like they’ve got weight to them.
It’s definitely niche, but if you’re into retro RPGs or just curious about Beyblade’s weirder spin-offs, this one’s a neat oddity. Just don’t expect an English patch anytime soon.
